Established in 1988, this college was a pilot project of the Government of Goa, set up with the aim of bringing quality higher education to the youth of the hinterlands of Goa. 24 years later, this college has, and continues to produce some of the finest graduates in Goa.

This college is now recognized as a centrifugal force impacting individual lives and society in general.
