The Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Sanquelim, hosted its 1st Inter-Collegiate 7-a-side Football Tournament on 18th October 2025 at the VP Amona Ground, with eight colleges from across Goa participating. The event was inaugurated by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Namdev M. Gawas and Mr. Sagar Fadte, Sarpanch of Amona. Caculo College, Mapusa emerged as champions, while the host college finished runners-up. Mrs. Sulakshana Sawant, President of Padmini Foundation, graced the closing ceremony and appreciated the college’s efforts in promoting sports.
