The Department of Marathi at Government College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Sanquelim, in association with Goa Marathi Academy, Panaji, celebrated Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din from 22nd to 27th February 2025 with various competitions and cultural events. The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Anil Samant, Dr. Sharat Jamkhandi, Prof. Dr. Sneha Suvas Prabhu Mahambare, and Dipak Manerikar. Prof. Dr. Anil Samant highlighted the Classical Language Status of Marathi and the relevance of Kusumagraj’s literature for today’s youth. 07 different competitions were organized by Ms. Shriya Tengse for students, and the celebration concluded with the felicitation of winners.
