The Undergraduate Department of English along with the Alumni Association conducted an Alumni Meet 2025 , “The Homecoming : Our Literary Journey” on the 23rd of August, 2025 at 2:30 p.m.in the Seminar hall. The meet aimed to provide a reconnection between the alumni and their Alma Mater.
The function was graced by Principal Prof. (Dr) Namdev Gawas, Mr. Sharat Jhamkhandi (Vice Principal of P.G and coordinator for P.G English, Dr Suman Tari (Convener of the Alumni Committee), Ms Krutika Navelkar (In charge, Department of English) and Ms Anita Jacob. Ms Anita Jacob was invited as a special invitee for the programme. Both, recent and older batches came together to relive their college days. They shared their anecdotes, poems, experiences, memories, and more. The latter session consisted of games which included riddles, tongue twisters, recollecting the past and jumbled words. The coordinator of the event was Ms. Bakita Naik.
