The Annual College Sports Day was held on 17th February 2025. The event was meticulously organized by the Sports Committee, with the aim of promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy competition among students. The event began at 9:00am with an opening ceremony, which included a speech by the college Principal, Prof. Dr. Namdev Gawas, Chief Guest Dr. Sunny Ramdas Kanekar (College Director of Physical Education and Sports at Vidya Prabodhini College of Commerce, Education, Computer and Management, Porvorim Goa), Guest of Honour, Mr. Siddhesh S. Kesarkar (Assistant Director of Higher Education Porvorim Goa), Mr. Saish Goltekar (College Director of Physical Education and Sports at Govt. College Sanquelim), Ms. Dorathy Alphonso (Instructor in Physical Education and Sports at Govt. College Sanquelim), Mr. Aryan Salunke (College Sports Secretary) who emphasized the importance of physical education in the holistic development of students. This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the torch, symbolizing the spirit of sportsmanship.
