The Department of History and Department of Konkani of Sant Sohirobanath Ambiye Government College and Research Centre, Pernem, in collaboration with the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Goa, organized a One-Day National Seminar on “Linguistic Heritage: History and Struggle” on 11th October 2025.
Faculty members Dr. Ambika Kamat and Mr. Sushant Naik, along with MA (English) students Ms. Prachi Vazrikar, Mr. Sagar Gawas, Mr. Nathan Silvera, and Ms. Anushka Pal, presented research papers exploring Konkani dialects, vocabulary, and oral traditions. The students’ work was guided by Dr. Ambika Kamat through all stages of conceptualization, writing, and editing.
